Hello there! How are you?

Allow me to introduce myself, no need to get up.

I live with my ever-the-optimist husband and two wonderful children, a couple of demanding kitties and an aged husky mix of unknown origin.

We are lucky enough to live in a gently weathered two-story Victorian in beautiful downtown Louviers, population 300, on the outskirts of Denver. Never heard of Louviers? Few have. Yet it is on the national historical register. In fact, it is one of only three company towns left in Colorado –( any idea what the other two are? Email me if you want the answer.)

I spend my days discussing weddings with brides and grooms of all sorts, or photography babies, or young children. I also spend my day, like most moms, shuffling my daughter in her karate uniform (over which she wears a large pair of pink gauzy butterfly wings) from one activity to another and playing ‘Star Wars’ or ‘Dinosaurs on the Hunt’ with my four year old.

I am interested in and love a lot of different things -photography, writing, laughing children, silly cats, playing dogs, front porches, the Colorado Mountains, fall apples, produce from the farm, fine Italian cooking, the smell of vanilla, the taste of hazelnut, prairie dogs, classical architecture, cathedrals, country churches, flower girls in flowing dresses, long conversations, and old and new friends. And of course photographing apples from Montana while sitting on the front porch reading about British Medieval history. Now that you know all about me, I would very much like to hear all about you – your wedding day, your portrait session etc.
